Server Tanfer graduated from Bogazici University Faculty of Industrial Engineering. He started his career at IBM Turk as a System Expert. Tanfer took various roles at IBM such as acquired Lotus Corp., Tanfer started to work as Lotus Turkey Business Development Manager. Later on after IBM acquired Rational Corp. he acted as IBM Rational Sales Manager. Between 2006-2012 Server Tanfer worked as IBM Turk Software Sales Leader and in 2012 he was appointed as IBM Technology and Industry Solutions Country Leader. As of October 2014, Tanfer became IBM Middle-East, Africa & Turkey Technical Sales Manager where he leads the IBM Technical Sales Team that operates in over 60 countries.
