Got her bachelor and master degrees at İzmir Dokuz Eylül University as a master city architect. Then, worked as an expert at Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works in Master Planning department between 1978-1983. Joined the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality in 1984, worked as a manager in the Department of Transportation. Since 2011, has been serving as the Head of the Department of Studies and Projects.
