Randall joined Alcoa in 2006 and is currently vice president and general manager of Alcoa’s truck wheel business for Europe, Middle East, and Africa since 2014. The business supplies lightweight forged aluminum truck wheels to all the major truck and trailer makers from locations in Szekesfehervar, Hungary, Paal, Belgium, and Durban, South Africa – and through an extensive network of value added distributors. Alcoa Wheel Products Europe was the first Alcoa business to produce DuraBright EVO® – the world leading wheel surface treatment for that keeps wheels bright and shiny for years while resisting corrosion and chemicals.
Prior to this assignment, Randall was global marketing director for Alcoa automotive rolled products in Detroit, working with global automakers to speed the shift from steel to aluminum in auto body construction. Randall served as chairman of the Aluminum Association’s Transportation Group (ATG). ATG is an industry trade group that is the voice of aluminum to the transportation industry in the US. Earlier in his Alcoa career he also led the automotive and commercial vehicle market sector team (MST) for Alcoa.
Prior to Alcoa, Randall has 13 years of automotive experience with Ford Motor Company and Visteon in engineering and manufacturing in the United States, Germany, and Mexico.
Randall is a native of Texas and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin as well as a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Randall and his family live in Budapest, Hungary.
