Professor Ali Fuat Aydın was born in 1967 in Istanbul. Proffesor Aydın completed his undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. studies in Environmental Engineering in Istanbul Technical University. He continued his post-doctoral studies at Newcastle University between 2004-2005. Major research topics are; airless and air treatment of industrial wastewater, sea discharge systems, water supply and waste water removal, geographic information system applications in environmental infrastructure and management, and environmental impact assessment. He is currently the Vice Rector of Istanbul Technical University.
