PROGRAM AND PROJECTS COORDINATOR, EMBARQ TURKEY

Pınar Köse joined to EMBARQ Türkiye team as Program Coordinator in September 2012. She assists Center Director and coordinates projects, communications, operations, fundraising and development strategies. She also works in air quality and climate change aspects of the mobility and urban development projects developed in the center. She has professional experience in environmental impact assessment, social impact assessment, gap analysis, source vulnerability assessment, European aid projects, local environmental action plans and noise modeling. She has worked in different engineering and environmental impact assessment projects, especially in the energy sector. Her passion for the environment and society is mirrored in her background with environmental engineering, which she earned a degree in from Dokuz Eylul University, İzmir. Right after graduation, she began working as a project engineer for a private firm in Ankara. After that she started Social Policy M.Sc. in Middle East Technical University, Ankara. She started work as a volunteer in AFS Volunteers Association in Ankara, and took lead rolls in hosting activities association events in addition to including being a trainee for last two years. She is currently a board member in AFS Volunteers Association.
