Born in Alanya, Antalya in 1966, Mevlüt Uysal studied first and secondary schools in his own town and then he was graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1988. He paid special attention to country and community problems apart from the the university years, and was active in political and social studies. Having completed the school, while he was executing self-employed lawyer profession, he was working in active policy. He gained service experience in every level from neighborhood representative to president. He participated in establishment and management phases of many NGOs dedicated either to his profession or to other social areas.
