Dr. Hayri Baraçlı graduated from Yildiz Technical University Industrial Engineering Department in 1989. He has obtained his master’s and phd degrees at the same university. Dr. Baraçlı started his academic life as research assistant in 1990. Since that time, he has been giving lectures, including 10 year-experience of Air Force Academy.
Dr. Baraçlı has served as management consultant at public and private sectors. He has completed so many academic and professional studies on business administration, re- structuring, strategic management and planning, holistic quality management, human resources management, feasibility of investments and efficiency management.
Besides his academic studies, Dr. Baraçlı has also worked as Rector Consultant, Public Relations Coordinator and Head of Human Resources Development Center at Yildiz Technical University between 2008 and 2009. He was appointed as General Manager of IETT Establishments in 2009. Since May 2014, he has been serving as Secretary General of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
Dr. Baraçlı, who defines innovation and change as his private and professional life’s motto, has given seminars and conferences and presented proceedings nationally and internationally about industrial engineering, operations research, management and organization, simulation and optimization, change management, financial management, entrepreneurship and public transportation.
Dr. Baraçlı’s first book about financial management at corporate companies, which was published in 2011, precede his second book “Yönetimde 40 Dörtler”, which was published in June 2014.
