After graduating from İzmir Atatürk Lisesi, he studied Computer Engineering at Ege University and got his MBA from Dokuz Eylül University. He worked in various positions for Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), Arkas Bimar and Koç Sistem. In 2006 he started to worked in Izmir Development Agency which is the first established Development Agency in Turkey and conributed to the establishment of the Agency. Celik currently serves as the Planning Programming and Coordination Management Unit Coordinator at İzmir Development Agency. He is responsible from the development of the regional development plans of İzmir and planning of the financial support programs within which projects of all kind of institutions are supported in accordance with the regional development plans.
