Erdal Uygun has been working at Edirne Municipality for twenty years. He studied Public Administration at Anadolu University in 2009, as his second bachelor’s level. He is the Manager of Edirne Municipality Transportation Services since 2010 and the Vice-President of Transportation Commission at UMT (Union of Municipalities of Turkey) since 2013. Mr.Uygun has two bachelors and two master’s degrees. He holds a master degree from Bahcesehir University in the area of Urban Systems & Transportation Management from 2012. His thesis subject was ‘Evaluation of Public Transport Roles and Responsibilities of Local Governments with Special Reference to the Case of Edirne’. Mr. Uygun started the Project; Optimization of Public Transport in Edirne. At the end of six years 224 minibus drivers get involved to the new public transport system. He wrote two articles about Public Transport in Municipalities, and published them in UMT Journals in November 2014 and May 2015.
