Daniel Molla Chekol is a Transportation Engineering professional with over 13 years of experience. He graduated in Civil Engineering with a distinction from Faculty of Technology of Addis Ababa University in 2004. He also earned his Master Degree in Transportation Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in 2008. Daniel works as Bloomberg Road Safety Initiative Coordinator within Addis Ababa City Transport Programs Management Office. Prior to joining the initiative Daniel has served as a Traffic Management Division Head at the Transport Programs Management Office, as Contract Engineer at Transport Design and Construction S. Co., as a Lecturer at Civil Engineering Department of Haramaya University, as an Academic Associate Dean of Technology Faculty of Haramaya University, and also Engineering Unit Head in Haramaya University. He also successfully completed Global Road Safety Leadership Course organized by Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP) and John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
