She was graduated from TED Zonguldak College and METU Faculty of Architecture Department of City and Regional Planning.She has worked in İzmir Metropolitan Municipality as a Senior Urban Planner between 1991-2011.Primarily macro scaled plans, she worked all scales and contents of plans and projects.She carried out the work programme called “Intermediate Cities” of International Union of Architects(UIA) and in this context,both as an international lecturer and also as an international jury of Mauritius/ Port Louis Port District Idea Competition acted actively in the international representation of İzmir City.She was selected by JICA for the group training course about “Urban Transport” and attended this course in Japan in 1995 for two months.Her career in Buca District Municipality started in 2011 July as Director of Planning and Project Department till she was promoted to become Deputy Mayor responsible for technical issues in 2014 april.
