Bart Van Bolhuis received his MS from the University of Amsterdam in International Law and Legal Studies between the years of 1981 – 1985. In 1998 he was promoted to Head of Euroteam at the Ministry of Finance and he has pursued this work for 5 years. Following years, he was the Director of Foreign Trade and Investment at Ministry of Economic Affairs during the years of 2003 – 2009. From August 2009 to July 2017, he has worked as Consul General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Beginning from 2017 to now he has been working as Consul General of Netherlands in Istanbul.
