I graduated from the Technical University of Denmark in 1988 and have since worked with roads and road traffic in public road administration. Since 1999 my field of work has been traffic safety, and as I have worked with city traffic in both Copenhagen City and Gladsaxe municipality, my focus have been on safety for cyclists and pedestrians. Presently I work in the Danish Road Directorate with traffic safety on state roads. Beside my experience in Denmark, I have also worked on short traffic safety assignments abroad, mainly in South America. I am a guest teacher at the Technical University of Denmark.
