Ms. Galskjøt was appointed Danish Consul General to Istanbul in August 2018. Prior to this Ms. Galskjøt was the CEO of the International Federation of Housing and Planning (IFHP) in Denmark. IFHP is a global NGO advocating sustainable urban development with members in 20 countries. Before taking up her position as CEO at IFHP Ms. Galskjøt served as Commercial Counsellor at the Royal Danish Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh. And prior to this, her first posting, Ms. Galskjøt had a career in the private sector within Finance and IT. Ms. Galskjøt has a MA, Law from Copenhagen University, an LLM from Kings College, London and an MSc, Cities from London School of Economics (LSE Cities). And she is the happy mother of three children aged 20, 16 and 12.
